Student Programs

Marin County Office of Education is an organization designed to provided services and support to our local community.  We work collaboratively with Marin County school districts to ensure programs are available to meet the unique needs of our student population.

The Student Programs division offers special education services and alternative education services for our county wide students.

Currently, our special education program serves approximately 1,300 students at over 50 school sites for 19 school districts.  Our alternative education program serves up to 600 students in three different community and court school settings over the course of the school year.

The Student Programs division is focused on providing programs to Districts that support our student’s social, emotional, and academic well-being in an educational setting that best meets their unique needs.

We feel honored to provide educational services to the students and families of Marin County.
